Hi everyone!
In our last issue of Two Cats we asked you to guess how many rounds of fetch Basil can play before getting tired out. Fetching his bird is definitely Basil’s favorite game, and 44% of you guessed correctly that he’ll return the toy more than 10 times before tuckering out. When activating his hunter instincts, Basil loves variety, chasing the bird into the kitchen one moment, and then onto the couch or under the bed in the next round. Recently, the little athlete played 16 back-to-back rounds of fetch.
Chapter 1: Video Game?
Indoor cats don’t get a too many chances to hunt on their own, but with YouTube they can pretend. Henry & Basil love their screen time, hitting at ducks and squirrels.
Chapter 2: Cats From Away
When we’re away from home, Henry and Basil still get active and have a good time, and they love their cat sitter. She keeps them busy with fun toys and makes sure they’re well taken care of. Modern technology isn’t the cats’ forte, however, and Basil is terribly confused by the cat camera we placed by the door.
Chapter 3: Sunning
To maintain proper health, cats need to lounge in the sun for at least… however much they want to! When Henry & Basil sun together they’re absolutely adorable.
Basil is fascinated by squirrels. Henry doesn’t like ducks nearly as much as he likes smaller birds, like the pigeons that nest outside our kitchen window. What type of animal video should we introduce the cats to next?
