Happy Halloween!
In the middle ages, many people believed witches and the Devil could take the form of black cats to skulk among humans. In our house, though, black cats are good luck.
On Halloween, Henry & Basil create the perfect holiday color palette with the orange crocheted couch Lily made for them. Of course, we had to included this throwback picture from last Halloween, before daily use dulled the couch.
This year, Henry appears to have decided to go as the Devil for Halloween despite the stigma. He first demonstrated his choice by shredding a package of chopsticks.
Tomorrow marks the start of November. As fall turns chilly, the cats know it’s time to cherish what sunshine there is and cuddle together for warmth. Stretching out to their full lengths, they slowly chase the sun all afternoon.
Happy Halloween & Twice The Good Luck,
