Basil's Safe Space

Hello again,

As you may have noticed from previous newsletters, Basil’s safe space is underneath the couch. Hiding from big scary noises — like stovetop cooking — doesn’t stop him from playing with his brother, though:

Basil peeks out from under the couch as Henry plays with the bird

Basil snatches the bird from his hiding place

But Basil loves other furniture, too. Lily’s office chair is a consistent favorite:

It’s Basil’s office chair

And he loves snuggling up to Henry in any cozy spot available:

Pile of blankets, pile of cats

When Basil has the bird, Henry has other strings he can play with:

Henry tears at Lily’s hoodie string
